I just ordered some wheels that are 19x9 et35 front and 19x10 et38 rear and am trying to figure out which tires I should go with being that the car is my daily and will be driven year round. It wont see any track days, but occasionally will get some spirited driving in the mountains near where I live. Due to living in the southeast, (upstate SC) Snow is rare but it does happen at least once per year and more than anything ice on the road is common in peak winter months. Temperatures in the winter can range anywhere from low 20's to mid 60's with the average daily temperature being around the mid 40's. So with that being said I'm thinking I should probably be looking into UHP all seasons. The only problem is I'm trying to find some 235/35 fronts and 265/30 rears and for whatever reason I can't really find any tires in that size other than the continental DWS's. I thought about just getting them but I would like to see some other options seeing as that tire gives up more for some snow traction when I probably wont be driving on anything other than cold wet roads at most since everything shuts down around here when it does snow, until the roads are clear of it. Any suggestions?

Keep your old rims as a winter set that have a nice winter tire or all season. 19s that are wide won’t have a great selection for those and are a poor choice for snow driving.

I won't be doing any snow driving. I'm wondering more about colder temperatures and cold wet roads.

The DWS06 are really good as far as cold and wet. Used them on my old 335i year round and also carved some mountain roads. I have even driven them in light snow without issue (still sketchy). If you go up to 245/275 you have either DWS06 or Pilot A/S 3+.

Would the 275's require any fender rolling? Also I can't seem to find pictures or info on this offset with those tire sizes on an e92. To my knowledge everyone has been recommending 235/35 and 265/30. How many miles did you get out of the DWS 06's?

Let me guess avant garde m359s? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1373928 some people discuss running 275 rears, however on stock suspension height. Most companies are being conservative with the 235/265, they are guaranteed to fit. With 275 I have seen some people rub with lots of load in the car or when lowered, others at stock ride height no issues. Really depends on the type of tire as each is a little different. On my DWS’s I would get around 25k mi on the rears and the fronts would go after changing rears 2-2.5x. Sucks not being able to rotate.
