Hi folks,

As the title says. It started like two weeks ago when my girlfriend tried to play songs with her phone (both our phones were connected before and were on the connected phone list) but somehow she couldn't connect to iDrive. Then I used my phone and neither did I. I ended up clear both phones from the list, deleted my car's bluetooth on my phone and redo the connection.
That's when the issue comes, on my phone side it shows connected right after I entered the pin but on the car side it just shows the "connecting..." message for a minute or so and ended up showing this


When I go to the external devices I can see my phone is connected via bluetooth and have no problem playing songs...it just does not show up under the bluetooth(audio) and bluetooth(phone) section where it list all the connected phones


I thought to do a firmware update on the connected drive might solve the problem and so I did it today, upgraded my phone iOS, both not helping it. It does not affect driving and I can still use bluetooth but this is like tiny little bugs that I'd like to get rid off.

Anyone got ideas on that?

Do you mean the update via usb port? If so I believe I have done that and the latest one I can find is UPD01008. Still it doesn't work

Had same issue. Make sure your Iphone settings under Bluetooth, vehicle(click on the "I" next to your car id number) looks like this pic.
