Upgraded coils availability

Does anyone know when more bimmerlife coils will be available as their is no way to pre order? Also does anyone know the wait time on a pr set as at least their web site allows pre order I did prefer the r8 coils as it seems people can run bigger gaps and no load on dme plus no engine cover issues but I am down to my last spare coil and really would like to upgrade instead of getting same thing again thanks in advance.

Tried contacting either company? They would know for sure.

I placed my order for PR coils on 9/11/17. I then contacted them the day after asking about the wait time. They responded that same day saying it will be shipped out within 2 weeks. I get an email on 9/15/17, just a few days after, saying it's been shipped. It was then delivered on 9/22/17. Customer support was great and I am loving these coils in my setup so far! I'm sure if you place the order and pay in full like I did, then they will get things moving faster.

I bought them when they were first released, and while the install isn't as "plug and play" as I would have liked, the performance is phenomenal. My oem coils constantly caused misfires at higher rpms, where there hasn't been so much as a hiccup with pr's kit.

Same here man. I'm running full e85 through PI on my stocker's and had a ton of misfire issues with the oem coils. The PR kit fixed that up right away and the car pulls like a monster.

Thanks for great feedback I originally wanted the bimmerlife coils cause no load on dme and it seemed people were ruining larger gaps but I think they were all n20 plugs and it seems the big house guys are all going pr plus they did test a bunch of coils so hopefully they are equal to r8 coils, deff would been nice to be lazy with install though 😁

when you guys are talking about misfires, are you talking about timing getting pulled? Or legit misfires? Do you think coil like this would help stop timing getting pulled?

Misfires leading to limp mode, started at e60. Now on full e85 with tbi and no problems yet.

Deff should make sure your trims are good so you know not injector. When I bought cheap knock off coils off Amazon I started getting crazy timing pulls.

Try some e85 or octane boost to rule out fuel quality.
