Favorite sounding cars/engines by cylinder count

Just curious what is everyone’s favorite sounding 4/6/8 cylinder motors are. For me I think it’s:
4 cylinder - Fiat Abarth (especially with a piggyback)
6 cylinder - Jaguar F-Type S (but I also think my 135is S2 sounds almost as awesome)
8 cylinder - 4.6l Mustang, Corvette C7 NPP (but I’m subjective here)

Well and 10 cylinder too. I was thinking most common engine types, but certainly interested in them all.

Panoz in full race trim. Heard one flying around Mid Ohio many years ago. The exhaust sound wasn't just loud it was down right mean. If one of these cars were closing up behind you, the exhaust sound was enough to make you want to get the F out of the way.

Inline 4: S2000 with individual throttle bodies
Flat 6: 991 GT3
V8: 458 Italia
V10: Huracan
V12: Tie between Aventador or Ferrari F12

I'm a sucker for high revving engines and the sound they produce.

You may already know, but 991 GT3 is not a V6. Just pointing that out since you specified the IL4 for the S2000.

I didn’t even think about two cylinder....and you’re right, I love the sound of my Diavel. There just isn’t anything else that sounds like it....I ride other motorcycles and they sound like sewing machines to me. And Harleys are loud for the sake of being loud, pretty much all bark and no bite.

Wasn't even a second thought when I initially thought of a two cylinder.

Yes, love my 899 Panigale!

How do you like the Diavel? Really big fan of those.

I might amend my 3 cylinder and add the triple from the MV Agustas.

I really can’t ride sport bikes since the riding position doesn’t help my back. This is as close to a sport bike while sitting somewhat upright. Plus there aren’t too many motorcycles with 160hp with a lowish seat. I’m 5’7” and can ride taller bikes but it’s a little awkward around town. The Diavel is very easy in that regard.

I also forgot about my Duc 848. The sound is intoxicating especially when the stock exhaust is replaced. I have Akra Titanium slip ons. The thing sounds mean. Reminds me when I was riding through Georgetown in DC. A couple of guys waited for me to take off from a stop light before going into a restaurant because they wanted to hear the exhaust. And I love turning Harley rider's heads when they look back and see a sport bike roaring as loud as their straight pipe bikes.
