Bluetooth phone but no Bluetooth music audio

2009 335i x drive. I can scroll through the menu and have telephone set up... but when I go into multi media I can't select my phone as an external source because it's not there. Is there any mods I can do for thisv

Do you have the 6FL option - the iPhone Y-Cable connector that plugs into both an AUX and USB port in the center console?

If you have idrive/nav you can do the combox to get
factory streaming.
If not there are a lot of cheap adapters that play through the
aux .
And some not so cheap ones such as the Dension gateway 500s bt.

Just bought the rocketfish for my 07 335i with logic 7. Sounds awesome. It replaced the air enabler with a FiO amp. I have not tried to hook up the FiO amp to it.

The Rocketfish has zero complaints from me. I have always been sort of an Audiofile and therefore very picky about my sound systems. I would say the rocketfish would be good enough for 90% of all audio files like myself.

You need the combox retrofit.

You will have to find the combox and cables plus get
coding to enable it.

Or places like Bimmertech sell a kit with coding.
