Adaptive Headlight Coding?

Hello Everyone,

I've been living with one of my adaptive headlights stuck in one direction for a few years now and then a couple weeks ago my passenger bulb burned out. Finally purchased a used set of adaptive headlights (pre lci e90) that were in great condition. Installed them over the last couple days, but i'm pretty sure they need to be programmed to the car... When I start the car they move, but they move downwards and then stay there. No right to left or up and down. Simply down and stop. Last night driving home, they only project like 15 feet in front of the car...i'm assuming this is because they need to be programmed, but someone correct me if i'm wrong?

This is completely last minute, but is there anyone local who has capabilities of programming and could meet up tomorrow (Saturday - 10/14) to help? Going on a small road trip around the New England area for a few days and would like to have coded...Obviously willing to pay for your time.

Try adjusting the headlights in the engine bay.

Did you get them coded or adjust in the engine bay?
