Another angel eye question
Hi I'm new to this forum and have decided to change the rings on my e92 to LED. After having a look around I've decided against the cheap eBay ones, I don't want any that flicker and I want them fairly bright. I've heard good and bad things about LUX... I've heard DTEC V9.5 or upwards sound promising, has anyone tried these? Also any other brands you guys would recommend?
Thanks Last edited by Scarfacexxx08; 10-18-2017 at 07:01 AM.. |

Get the HPB 240. Just as bright or even brighter than the LUX 180 at half the price. I got my pair for $99.

Here at LUX we have been designing and manufacturing our own products since day 1 and have always worked to be the leading provider in high quality angel eyes. Out newest lights offer unique features such as 0% dimming and a Glass shield to protect the LED. |

I'm happy enough with my lux 40ws, having said that i was happy with my 20ws until one of them started flickering after having being fitted for 4 1/2 years, when fitting the new ones I read the fitting guide this time & apparently the control unit is supposed to be fitted outside of the headlight unit but I couldn't find a suitable place.
Whatever watt led bulb you go for the inner halo will always be brighter due to the design of the light rings.

It's not an earth shattering difference. It's marginal/negligble at best. Anyone can PM me for comparison pictures for now until approval by LUX. Just some food for thought, this was the 160W VS 240W that we did. Last edited by Jeff@TopGearSolutions; 10-19-2017 at 02:42 PM.. |

As well, here is a customers example of the LUX H8 180 angel eyes which really helps to show the evenness and brightness of the inner and outer rings when you view them from far enough back. And here is a picture of these in action on Bimmerworld's Race car Last edited by LuxAngelEyes; 10-20-2017 at 08:54 AM.. |
