Water pump won't shut off!
So here's my story, I put a new water pump and thermostat in yesterday. I went to perform the bleeding procedure and in the middle of the cycle the car battery died.... (I know, I'm a idiot and forgot about a battery tender). Now with a battery tender the water pump won't shut off, oil level indicator reads inactive, and I'm getting codes of alternator missing, intelligent battery sensor missing, electric coolant pump missing.

Put a real battery charger on it, car goes crazy when battery is low.
Your other choice is disconnect the negative and put the battery tender on it for 2 or 3 days as it will take that long or longer.

disconnect the battery and take it to autozone get a fully charged and get real battery charger.
same thing happened to me when the battery charge i had didn't work. A fully charge battery should get rid of the codes |

Have them trickle charge it over night. The quick "1 hour" charge cooks batteries. Or better yet buy a charger, their only $50.

But your correct, if you can wait, the trickle charger would be easier on the battery. |

I bought a new battery and I'm still getting a code for 2E7C - bsd data bus communications fault and the water pump is still running as soon as I open the drivers door. I guess I fried the new water pump....

Did you ever solve this problem? I have virtually the same situation. Thanks.
