Drag tire for 19" 313's and rear 10mm spacer

Hey guys,

I have burned through my rear PSS's and need some new tires. I got 18k miles out of them which is pretty good considering 500+ wtq

I am currently running the stock size of 255/30/19 in the rear with a 10mm spacer. Do you foresee any issues running 265/30/19 using Toyo R888R's on 313's with a 10mm spacer?

Thanks

Also, another option I am considering is a 275/30/19 setup on Bridgestone RE-11's. The tire should fit but I am not sure if I will have any issues with the 10mm spacer.

I've ran 275/30-19 Yokohama Advan Neova AD08R's and Nitto NT05's on the stock 313's with a 10mm spacer with no issue. I'm at about 550wtq as well. Don't kid yourself into thinking the R888's or RE11's will be anything close to a real drag radial. I thought the same thing too with my tires and I could still roast them through 3rd with a DCT. They'll be great for handling but bald in 8-10k miles.

I'm just going to ante up for a pair of Apex 17's and drag radials and have a legit drag setup.

Thanks!!!

Which tire do you like better? The AD08R or NT05 or other?

Also, what tire and size did you run in the front? 235/35/19?

I think I prefer the Yokohama as a better overall performer. They were especially good in the twisties (Tail of the Dragon). As a drag tire they were about the same and I think the Nitto has less tread depth when new so I'm only getting maybe 8-9k miles out of them while I squeezed 11-12k from the Yokohamas.

I'm actually running 245/35-19's up front with a 3mm spacer for a little insurance clearance for my F30 BBK. Slight amount of rubbing on the left at full lock but nothing I can't tolerate.

I might go with the PS4 next round. If they're as good as everyone says I'm hoping I can maybe double my tread life without sacrificing any dry traction.
