Speaker Static
I have an e92 328i x drive with the standard hifi speakers and for some reason the right side both front and rear have a static noise at high volume.
Yes I understand that any speaker will have some amount of static at high volume, but this is more than normal. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Can it be fixed? What could it be? Thanks! |

idrive or pro radio?
Hi Fi or Logic 7? What kind of mods do you have if any. There was a recall on some pro radio's for noise but it tends to be on all speakers. A lot of the wiring goes up the side the battery is on could be induced noise. Does it happen both when the motor is on and off? Last edited by ctuna; 10-27-2017 at 04:13 PM.. |

You might try removing the Loc just to see if it will go away.

Assuming that you are not overdriving the amp or have other problems with the system, a failing speaker will often produce static type noises.
E.g. If the driver element has gone out of round or contacts the sides during long throw movements, this sounds like static or clipping noises. |
