Hey guys, need a little information if anyone can provide it. I've scratched a side mirror on a concrete post while parking. I can see some white paint transfer and it seems the scratch is pretty deep from touching the area. The scratch itself isn't more than 2" long and at best 1/4" wide. My car color is Montego Blue.
I think it's best to just attempt a paint repair via wetsanding and touchup paint. Should I also be including a clearcoat on top? Updated: Attached 3 pics of the scratch. The main scratch is about an inch long. On second looks, it isnt as deep as my mind imagined. Last edited by fucema; 05-20-2008 at 11:51 PM.. Reason: Added 3 image attachments. |
