Need Help from Experts - Suspension

Just acquired an 2006 E91 xi, will M3 (e90) springs fit my car? If so, good idea or just get eibach/h&r springs?

What are the goals for switching springs? Are you trying to add performance or just lower the car a bit?

Yes to both questions. And I already have them laying around from my E90 M. Will they fit?

The springs rate are calculated based on car weight, engine => so I think this is a bad idea. If you want to lower the car, buy some aftermarket springs suited for your car

The fronts will not fit non M struts. I do believe the rears will fit but your ride height will be off... it will sit too high.

There was one post mentioning someone that was able to get the front to fit but there was no confirmation that I recall...
