Help! My 335xi got stolen!!!! (update: car found!)

This is a call out to anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please keep your eye out for the car in the pic below. It's a 2008 E90 335xi and it was stolen out of my garage last night. Don't ask me how, I don't know. As you can see in the pic, it's got 19" Black Breyton Race GT's, dropped 2" on KW V3s, tinted windows and tinted blacklines. If you see this anywhere shoot me an email pronto!!

This must be the first e9x to be stolen on the forum here! I thought they were pretty tough to steal too. Either way, good luck and i hope they find the lil thieves!!

Yeah, I contacted them and started the stolen vehicle recovery process, but haven't heard anything yet. I'm just trying to cover as many bases as I can.

hmm just post in the general thread and hopefully it doesn't get moved. I would also check craigslist for your rims in the next week or so. Sometimes criminals are lame and will post up the rims they stole.

hmm, to steal a whole car out of your garage?... you sure your friends are f*cking around with you? I thought BMW Assist had a tracking ability.. I'm surprised they haven't found your car yet.

I share space in a tandem garage (not in my building) with a girl who drives a Jetta. She called me this morning when she noticed her car was missing. Naturally I freaked out cuz I was parked behind her, which means my car had to be moved to get hers out. I parked it there at 7:00pm last night, locked the doors, and closed the garage. She said the garage was open this morning, and both cars were gone. I'm hoping that both our cars are in the same place so if BMW assist finds it, they will find hers too. I filed the police report about 3 hours ago.

yes it happens. My old car was stolen out of my apt. garage...

wow I'm wondering how your car got stolen. The only other cases I've seen here involved carjacking and home invasion (to retrieve fobs). Do you have both of your fobs?

I hope BMW Assist is able to help you pronto.

If you have BMW Assist, they should be able to track your car...I don't get it; when i was using Concierege; it took them about 2 minutes to locate my exact location. GL man
