In that case, I'd always start with what was installed last. Since you R&Red the MAP and JB4 acts on signals, make sure the harness is fully seated, verify the JB4 harnesses are installed in the correct sub harnesses and in the correct orientations, then verify the JB4 interface and dash menu settings. I'd download the latest interface and flash the latest firmware to make sure they are compatible.
You may want to jump over to the JB4 forums, someone there will have more experience with troubleshooting and may know exactly what it is based on the symptom. I do doubt it's the actual TMAP though, not real common for them to go bad. My money is on JB4 install, firmware/software or a setting. |

Honestly, I agree. I fear I've somehow damaged the DME during the JB4 install. My first guess was that the Map Sensor had failed either due to the mileage, or perhaps just the trauma of being moved from one charge pipe to the next, but finding .03V on both of the supply wires to the MAP sensors changed my mind, AND confused me.

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone frying a DME when misconnecting a JB4, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. I'd just double-check the harness locations/orientations, update and check settings.

the JB4 is brand new. I got it Monday, but I went ahead and updated the firmware. I checked all of my connections, and they are 100% correct and seated firmly. I'm still getting the code for no signal on the intake pipe MAP sensor, and still don't seem to be getting the correct output voltage (supply) from the DME to the sensor. I am completely at a loss.

OK. here are the requested pictures. I admit that it seems confusing that the pin numbers on the harness dont seem to match up with those of the pigtail, but that is how they are in all of the install videos I've seen and the arrows are all pointing the same direction.

For everyone that is following this post and hasnt seen my other 2 posts, let me update you.I installed a JB4, dual cone intake and an XSPower charge pipe all the same day. I have double checked all of my connections and fittings, and the car will not pull after it starts building boost. I am at a complete loss.

I'd get a hold of Terry and see if he can help. BMS's customer service is, in my experience and observation in this industry, outstanding.
