Usually, you see old beat up Civics pretending to be something they are not. But this one was a new one for me. Little does this guy know that 1 out of 10 people in Austin drive a BMW and that he's going around town making a fool out of himself...

I should have got a shot of the hood - it was a real hatchet job. He was apparently still in the process of midding it...lol.

Should be laws against this or make it a infringement fine that could be pursued by police - Misappropriation by false pretences. A bit like putting fake plates on your car. Heck, this car could be used for holdups and unsuspecting people could give evidence as a BMW being the "get away" car.

If the guy was pulled over, I am thinking he'd either be in trouble for trying to change the make of the car or the cop would be extremely dumb to identify his car as a BMW VR6.

Are you kidding? That VW looks like a fridge on wheels. Which is what it is, because VW is the German Toyota (or they like to think they are)

The 1 series has a heritage, and soul, and for that it is deeply beautiful.

no, i'm not kidding. it wasn't exactly the praise for vw jetta - rather, i was thinking how ugly the 1s are. of course it's just me but from what i've read on this forum, i'm not the only one...
