2011 335i COBB stage2-aggressive tune
Just bought this 2011 335i with COBB tuner and was told it makes around 430hp and I dnt know a ton about bmws so I was told your car has to have certain aftermarket parts to run the stage-2-aggressive tune. Anybody know more about this they can chime in on?? From what I can see it has injen cold air intake, aftermarket intercooler piping, idk bout the fmi tho, it has a blowoff valve, the exhaust looks stock but definitely doesn’t sound stock. Off the tuner on 91 octane I get consistent 18psi pulls and occasionally it’ll jump up to around 21psi

I have a 2011 335i and run a COBB OTS tune so I can give you some input. First of all if you are running 91 octane, take the "aggressive" map off and flash the "sport" map. Aggressive maps are designed for 93 octane, and you can potentially damage your motor if you keep doing pulls with it. The way the COBB maps work are as followed: Stage 1 is for a stock car, Stage 1+ is for a car with a FMIC, Stage 2 is for a car with a downpipe, and Stage 2+ is for a car with a downpipe and FMIC. I highly suggest flashing the Stage 1 sport map until you know what your car has for sure.
Also, I highly doubt your car has a blow off valve. 2011 335i's have the N55 motor which uses a diverter valve instead. |
