HID/Xenon please help!
Hey guys,
Please could you help me understand how the OEM ballast connection is working? I manage to connect a third party HID ballast/bulb to replace the OEM one. Using the yellow wire (+12v) and the brown wire (Neg) It's working without any issue. The problem is that the square connector is coming with terminals for the high beam/low beam accuator... and I don't understand how it works... I don't know how to connect them and to power the accuator, so no high/low beam feature... There are 2 wires for the accuator : black/yellow and green... I tried to connect a multimeter to check the voltage : 0v https://flic.kr/p/21c8gh3 https://flic.kr/p/E9zkXW https://flic.kr/p/21c8gC3 https://flic.kr/p/E9zkKw Can someone help me understand please? Found something interresting from :
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=916095 brown = ground yellow = power to ignite the lamp. Ok on both, both lamps work. green = There's two green wires on the pin, one goes to the solenoid. I get 12V on both left & right only when flashing high beam black/white = the other solenoid wire. |
