Are you sure you want to buy that one??? a few reasons why you shouldn't: 1) there isn't just a little bit of trimming like they state, there is more like A Lot of cutting. 2) WAY WAY WAY over priced. i actually found out who makes their Front Mount and BOV kit and i spoke with them directly. There is over a 350% mark-up on the FMIC. If you walk in off the street, they sell the core for $120 by itself. If you want to wait a little while, about a month or so, i will be selling mine to get a larger unit to fill in my new bumper. To pay $950 for the AA name sure isnt worth it, especially when you find out the tyoe of people they really are... |

There there now, it's gonna be alright... Another oipinion is that this is one of the best ICs on the market since it has the most surface area of any other IC. The cutting is of a shroud that you will never need to use again. Even if you go back to stock the shroud doesn't do anything. Here's my writeup of the AA IC: You can make up your mind by having both sides. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=110106

Here,
I'll even save you from the link hopping. Here's the best run from stock compared to the best run with the AA IC. Runs were done within 24 hours with same conditions.

I didn't say it was a bad unit, now did i??? i believe i had stated that there was more cutting that need to be done, AND that the unit was way way way OVER PRICED and that he can get the SAME FMIC from the manufacture directly for a fraction on the cost. I DIDN'T MAKE ANY STATEMENTS ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE... |

The shroud they made for it is bar none the best part of the FMIC.. No other FMIC has something even remotely close. Not to mention it fits perfectly on E92s.. its E90's that require the modification.

I think the AA unit is pretty nice. I just installed my Spearco yesterday and it wasnt so easy to get in place either. Defiantly need to trim quite a bit too. I also wish it filled up my center grill some more.
