rear lights
hi all,
with my rear lights the ones mounted to the boot on the passenger side are dimmer than the ones on the drivers side, i have pre-LCI lights and its 2007, is this a bulb issue or do they not have bulbs in and are they LED's? any ideas Steve |

Hi, photos of my 2007 E93 show the LEDs in the lightbar/running light strips.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1441049 This was my first attempt fixing LED lights so everything is guesswork but I'd suspect : a dirty contact on the dull light (cleaning the connections is a cheap fix to try !) your dull light was replaced by a previous owner when the original failed (and looks different to the others) the LEDs failed in 1 light before you got the car and somebody has repaired using "new (non-BMW) leds... Hopefully it's just a loose wire, but I'd be surprised if it's that easy to fix. Good luck
