■█ GROUP BUY █■ *new* BOOST GAUGE POD & KIT - RiXeffects
UPDATE:
Orders are flying in... thanks guys! Anyone that want to get in on the action, go for it! http://www.rixeffects.com/groupbuy.htm NEW GROUP BUY! NOW ACCEPTING PAYMENTS! GROUP BUY PAYMENT PAGE: http://www.rixeffects.com/groupbuy.htm Orders are shipped in order of PAYMENT. Thanks everyone! Pricing: Digital Kit - $294 Mech Kit - $254 Pod Only - $175 The digital gauge by itself retails for $130 from VEI systems, so the group buy kit is a steal considering your getting a $199 dollar pod, PLUS all the kit peices, newsouth tubing, etc... Bottom line... over $375 worth of stuff (if bought separately) for only $294 Normal price is on my order page: www.rixeffects.com PRODUCT INFO: Right now these are made by hand, using the production molds I created by hand. Its about a 2 hour process of mixing, degassing, pouring, de-molding, trimming, etc.. We can make them at a rate of 1-3 per day. The rubber I use is a silicone based ultra strong rubber that was designed for the special effects industry. It costs $200 PER GALLON!!! So... all that to say... you guys are going to get your money worth... this isnt just some cheasy plastic injected part from china... its got a personal touch of love from me to you POD WILL FIT ANY 52mm boost gauge Install is easy and completely reversible. The digital gauge is very very accurate. 90% of my customers choose this gauge, because they want to know for sure an accurate reading above all else. It uses a piezo-electronic sensor which responds faster and is more accurate. It adjusts itself for ambient pressure and ambient temp for pefect calibration at any altitude. It also has the following features... Peak recall 0.1 PSI resolution Numeric and bargraph recall, with user-adjustable peak-display time Integrated semiconductor sensor (no external sensor required) Park-light dimmer Bi-directional 12-segment bargraph AND 3-digit display User-settable bargraph scale User-settable day and night intensities (9 levels each) You can read more here: http://www.veisystems.com/bhm-m.html KIT: From left to right, here is what you see: - Numbered Certificate of Authenticity for the pod, hand signed by me. Because these pods are hand made, we have to reject close to almost 10% of them sometimes, so each one is approved by me. - The pod, made of ultra strong silicon based rubber designed for the special effects industry, at a cost of $200 per gallon. It also gets a fresh coat of automotive UV protectant before getting sealed up, hence the shine on the leather texture. - Your chosen guage. This photo is of the mechanical gauge, but the digital is obviously a choice as well, and the digital is what I personally prefer (and 95% of my customers) - Install instructions. Full pictorial instructions that take you step by step through routing the vacuum lines and hooking up the wiring. I even had my wife go over them to make them "idiot proof" (not that my wife is an idiot! ) but you enthusients should have no problems at all... - Wiring Diagrams. Details wiring diagrams for how to hook up the power lines and dimmer lines to the gauges... (as if it wasn't easy enough already ) - Vacuum tubing kit from newsouth performance. I spared no expense... this is the best of the best of tubing kits, as recommended by several users and moderators on these forums. - 3 conductor wire, quick disconnects, tap-ins, and heat shrink tubung. Everything you need to properly install the gauge, and even quickly remove it for dealer visits. The wire I chose has a slight stiffness to it... this makes it easier to "poke" it up through the a-pillar without the need for other wire fishing techniques. The digital gauge kit also includes a few resistors and a capacitor to "filter" the dimmer line from any noise, but this is of course optional, and your choice if you want to use the dimmer or not. I think the digital is the way to go.. You get an exact boost reading and you know exactly what you are spiking.. Big difference between 14 and 16, which might not be clear on the mechanical gauge.
Awesome deal with the random 100 off offer... you the man Mike |

+1. I am going to be switching to the digital very soon. I like the looks of the mechanical, but I will be beta testing soon so I need exact measurements....
