Polish/Wax After Paint Job?

The hood and bumper on my 2008 white 328xi was recently painted. How long should I wait to clay, polish, and/or wax those parts of the car?

Thanks!

Shouldn't need a polish as it is new paint. I do believe you are supposed to wait 5-6 weeks before applying any sealants/wax.

Ask the painter. If it was baked you're good. If not it's normally 6 weeks or so.
