m3 strut brace turret nuts?!?!

hi guys just installed my m3 strut brace to my 335i, apon installation ive found the turret nuts to sit very low are they supposed to be like this? i also noticed when i fitted coilovers that there is a black spacer fitted between the top mount and the chassis although not very thick, is this supposed to be removed ?

-black spacer you can leave
-m3 strut nuts are tall and go through the strut brace footers
-appears all to be OK

Blue stuff is Loctite. Don't worry about it. Is OK even without. If you want peace of mine buy this: Permatex 24200 Medium Strength Threadlocker Blue, 6 ml https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-2420.../dp/B0002UEMZ2

I was debating on if I need those nuts or if I could use normal ones with washers for this mod.. guess those photos answer my question! They’re $11 a pop, $66 for 6 little nuts. Blah

yep, I pieced together one for about $150 including having to buy 3 of those $10 nuts. Mostly from salvage yard but had to buy a couple things new. Enjoy.
