Hey guys this may sound pretty noobish but I need help with the wiring on this thing. Got the pump in and everything connected at the pump but I'm a little confused with the wiring connectors and terminals because I'm terrible with anything electrical. For the most part I understand where everything is supposed to go but how to connect the wires themselves is puzzling me. Like on the blue wire on the trigger is supposed to connect to the pump power wire so it has a male end on one side then a small opening on the the other side for the stripped power wire to go into. But the connector itself is hard plastic, how tf am I supposed to crimp these to make the connection without destroying the plastic? It has hard plastic on the regular ring terminal too, am I supposed to take the plastic off crimp it then just wrap it in electrical tape or what? I feel dumb already posting this haha plz help!

Crimp at the metal part right over the plastic.

But... I would never do a crimp connection for anything on a car.

Soldered connectors only for me.
