Bended a MB E500 sportwheel
We took our 03' E500 to get a brake recall done(This is the freaking 2nd or the 3rd recall on brake) and found out that the E500 has a leaking tranny and a bended sport wheel. THIS FREAKING E500 HAS 9K MILES ON IT! and only driven on nice and gentle by my Mother in Law.
The SA said some mumbo jumbo about it has 70% runout and it could not be balanced as is. So there goes $375 for a replacement factory alloy. For all of us here worry about buying CSL reps or any other kind of Chinese or Taiwanese made alloys, you know what, It doesn't matter. Factory MB wheels bend just as easy... |

I understand your point, but it really does matter! It make little sense to say that just because the E500 rims got bent that it doesn't matter what quality/brand rim to go with! Even the replica brands advertise how their product is *high* quality.
Plus, not saying anything bad about your Mother-In-Law, but maybe she hit something? Possible? Sorry about the MB problems. Danny

Its possible but she's loves her car and I really think its pothhole, if anything. We don't have many bad roads here in KY and she doesn't take this car out on long trip, it just sits at home four days a week. I just don't see it.
I hope Velocity Motoring reps is not a bad choice for the E90 |
