Thats' almost semi-pro kit

Not sure if expert agree, I'll go with 1066FF since it provides same gloss factor of 5 as FP but with more bite.
Not sure how good your paint is but 335(from your avatar) must be less that a year old so IP will be reserve for stubborn scratch.

for my 2001 330ci, i went w/ SIP (probably too much for a newer car like yours) and 106FF. the guy i purchased it from carried the complete menzerna line and recommended them after i told him my car's make and model. i know the 106FF is very popular with DIYs and pros. if you look at the bmw details posted on various sites you'll see the majority used 106FF.

Should I buy 106FF instead of IP? If I go with the 106FF do I need the FPII also?
BTW my car is jetblack one year old.

Thanks Guys.

Depends on the condition of your paint, but with a 1-yo car that's probably all you need. FWIW, I've used 106FF on my black E90 and I'm pleased with it.

+1

my vote is to keep IP and swap the FP for PO106FF.
I wouldn't sweat it if you order things already since IP follow with FP will be dynamite as well (just a little more work since you do buffing then polish, I believe PO106FF is kinda both in one).

with some microfiber towels and the DI starter kit, I think you're fine. The PC may not be the best thing in the world, but it's probably a good starter. I jumped straight to a rotary and it's fun, but I only think i'm using like 20% of the potential of it.

I think you'll be quite pleased with the products you selected. I think the PO106FF is a nice upgrade to the Final Polish II and will finish your paint cleaner with a deeper finish. Be sure to keep us posted on how things turn out for you after you get a chance to use everything.

Thanks for your support, it's greatly appreciated!

1066FF and SIP for a more abrasive polish...IP isnt strong enough for some applications
