How regularly is the SatNav DVD updated?

Do BMW produce a new DVD every year and, if so, when does it come out? In other words, how out-of-date will my 'brand new' DVD be on delivery early next month?

I'm interested in this too -- according to NAVTEQ's website there is a 2006 disk, although my new 330 that i picked up last week has the 2005.2 disk. . . Now that i've backed it up with two extra copies, I'm wondering if there's a way to get an updated disk.

if someone has the newest disk just image it and throw it up on bittorrent.
