Cleaning Engine Compartment Grease?

The factory seems to put grease everywhere under and along the perimeter of the hood and engine compartment. Any safe products out there to get rid of it? I searched to no avail. TIA

The safest product for the engine bay would be P21s Total Auto Wash. I think or forum sponsor DetailedImage.com sells it, and you can also receive a discount for being a forum member.

Here is the link for P21s TAW

What you want to do is:

1. Make sure the engine bay is cool. If you drove the car recently you will want to wait a bit to cool the engine off.
2. Rinse with water
3. Spray P21s TAW everywhere and let it sit for 5-15min
4. Use a soft brush and scrub the everywhere
5. Rinse
6. Repeat 2 through 5 if necessary
7. Wipe everything to make as dry as possible and leave the hood open tell the remaining areas are dry.
8. Dress the plastic with a water based dressing product like AeroSpace Protectant
Here is the link for AeroSpace Protectant:

9. Use a Quick Detailer, or even a sealant for the painted/metal sides on the fender and the hood if you feel like going the extra yard to protect your engine bay

Hope this helps!

Jared
