SURG4 Nexen: Track Use Tyre Pressures
Hello,
I have a 335i Coupe running: 235/40R18 Fronts 275/35R18 Rears - curb weight about 1600kg/3520lbs Power at crank: 275kw Torque: 550nM (hence the fat rears) First time using SUR4G's this coming weekend. Track sessions about 15min. Any recommendations form those who have run these about starting cold pressures to achieve 42psi Hot? and also any other 'theories' on optimum hot pressure, 42 seems to be about right, but know others with other ideas (ie 38 psi hot all round etc) Any experience out there who can comment? Track surface temp if a sunny day should be 40-50 degrees C, in there somewhere
