Anyone on here with a DUDMD tune?

Or anyone else besides the JR or BPC guys? Mine needs a retune to code out the DEF injection, but not sure I want to spend the 1200+ just for that. DUDMD is a bit cheaper but haven't been able to find any real world numbers or reviews.

DUDMD is not popular just yet I they have a few videos online and the cars only smoke when they are stacked with a JBD. when they are not running the JBD they look like all the others.

I will be using them for my tune when the time comes which will hopefully be in the next few months.

to get reviews I think you will have to get on the facebook page I don't think too many people here have it.

Jarek at Jr Tuning can code out the DEF system for a few hundred bucks. Give Andrew at AArodriguez a shout. On the other hand if you don't have emissions testing out there you can ignore the code. I would periodically check to make sure no other codes are present. I have had my DP and tuned DDE for 2 years and have yet to install. Been lazy or busy with other stuff. Wifes x5 runs fine.

@fsd350 sell it to me lol.......mine was tuned with an EARLY ecotone....just didn't code out the DEF part, so I still have to fill it. But with a NON D bumper ( missing access panel ) its kinda of PITA.

Great experience here wit DUDMD on my X5D after 6 months of nothing but problems with another tuner (forum member BAWARECA) claiming my ECU was defective.

got the tune from DUDMD and all my problems went away I have full deletes.

Sooner, did you buy a totaled 335d that had bumper replaced with a 335i one? I had read of it on the Facebook group. Life sure would be easier if you would mail in your ECU and get it retuned with JR or BPC tune.

Cuda,

The one you are thinking of is a silver Msport for sale in TX that had horrible repair job and they stuck a non-msport bumper on it . IIRC that car was not tuned yet. But yeah OP, go with JR, BPC or Dudmd.

I recently got a Dudmd stg 2. Having random no starts, so haven't put more than 300 miles on it, but feels good, better mpg, and not seeing any smoke with factory DOC still in place.

I've literally heard issues from everything other than JR. Food for thought..

I'm running Malone through DieselOps and I'm very happy with the tune. The DUDMD tunes are also very good. I'd stay away from BPC and JR tunes are expensive (well all of them are, but JR moreso).

Little more, but not that much. DUDMD is the cheapest solution, but from the FB group posts it looks like they're having MAF coding issues with upgraded air filters.

Malone Stage 2.9: 1,098
JR Stage 2.9: 1,299

DUDMD is building a nice following and seems to provide great customer support. As another poster mentioned, they are currently working through power loss issues on their highest tune when running an aftermarket intake.

The other three are spitting distance from each other in terms of cost. I've been running a JR tune for over 50k, SES functions as it should and the motor seems to be in great health. Customer support has been stellar.

Yeah on support. Dudmd has been on top of every question I've asked. Even on a Sunday. Also, my no starts are not due to tune. Had this intermittently for a while now.

Tune can be flashed via OBD port or on the bench. JR use to install spiderboot but I don’t think he does any longer.

EDC17cp09 tools for the DIY’er are cheaper than buying a generic tune from a vender.
