How to easily press in Control Arm Bushings

Hey everyone, figured I share this easy jig that I made for pressing in control arm bushings. In this case I'm an XI and the control arm bushings are made by Strongflex.

BE CAREFUL, this stuff is dangerous and this is simply how I did it. I am not responsible if you try this.

Here goes...

All you really need...
-3ft section of steel
-5/8" drill bit
-5/8" x 7" hex bolt with 24mm head
-few washers and 5/8" nut.

Drilled a hole first in the steel, then cut it off so it was about 6" long. Drilled a second hole in the remaining piece and clamped it to my vice. Put the bolt with washer and the rest can be seen in the pictures.

Used a 1/2" ratchet on the bolt head side and a side of channel locks on the other side. Worked beautifully!
