ScheerSpeed Detailed: 2008 Black Lexus IS350

this car was only a few months old, had never been detailed since delivery, but was washed whenever necessary by the owner. it was FULL of water spots, but the swirls were pretty light, and not too deep, so just a 1-step polish is all it took to get the job done!

Exterior:
-P21s TAW Pre-soak on bumper, mirrors, behind wheels
-CG CWG
-CG Waterspot Remover
-CG Blue Clay
-CG SQD lube
-CG Speed Wipe
-CR Spotless

Wheels/Fender wells:
-Simple Green (Fender wells)
-Bleche-wite (tires)
-CG Citrus wheel cleaner
-CG BareBones (Fender Wells)
-Meg's Hyperdressing (tires)

Engine:
-P21s TAW
-Meg's Hyperdressing

Interior was just given a vaccum and wipe down with CG Leather cleaner, and wiped again with a damp cloth.

Correction:
-Menzerna PO106FF Via Green LC CCS pad

Protection:
-CG jetSEAL109

LSP:
-CG Pete's 53'

Enjoy!!!

Before wash

After Wash/clay

Pre-Polish

Before/after passenger side mirror

After Polish and re-wash. NO LSP OR SEALANT

Engine After

Clean door jambs

FINISHED with CG Pete's 53'

marks from tape are visible here, this was before i applied Aerospace 303 to the rubber trim

thanks for looking! Comments are much appreciated!!!

Wow seems in less than a year you went from only doing Zaino treatments to:

PC
Flex
and now a rotory.

Whats next? Air sander maybe?

BTW, Lexus paint is soo soo nice! Soo black!

lexus paint is very nice, especially their starfire pearl and obsidian black, one of the reasons why I almost bought the IS. These pictures are great, but you can't really see the metallic pearl coming off of it through these pictures, they don't do justice! Excellent job, petes 53 is some great shit!

yea true... detailing obsession is worse than a drug obsession!!!

i was actually thinking pressure washer/foam cannon next, then maybe a paint gauge.

and the paint on this lexus was AMAZING to work with compared to BMW paint! there was so much less Orange Peel it was crazy!!!

it was just a jet black, no metallic flakes...

and i love pete's 53. i have only used it on 3 cars and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite waxes.

Agreed! I noticed the great photography as well. Keep up the excellent work. Glad to see you're enjoying Pete's '53.
