here you go... 83 has a higher cut....106 less cut but finishes down better!

What pad would you use on #83. A light cutting pad or polishing pad?

How do you know when to up the cut of the pad or up the type of polish your using to correct?

Start with a white and see if that does it....if not move up to a orange....(you use a rotary and you don't know which compound or pad to use?) I really don't think you should be using a rotary......

compound is just a word...

83 has a good amount of cut...what come companies call a compound some call polishes...it is better to think of it on a scale..1 to 10 scale...I would say 83 is a 6 out of 10...106 is like a 4....
