DRL Disable
Does anyone know of a problem with a DRL disable at a shop (2007 E90 335i)? I went to a shop to get this done with their machine and the guy told me that their diagnostic machine when trying to disable DRL made an error and didn't work. Is anyone aware of this problem? Or, the better question is... if anyone knows a place that does it for this car? I am just very confused...

Canadian cars cannot be disabled through the cluster...
You will need a shop with the euro programming to disable the DRL...

Excuse me for asking but why do you want to disable your DRL?

So that people who have upgraded their angel eyes can drive with just their angels eyes on without the DRL on (by switching on the parking lights). Looks much nicer. It's a cosmetic thing...as many of our mods are. If you don't disable DRL, then angel eyes are only on when the DRLs or xenons are on... The cheaper way is to just pull the DRL bulb...but you lose the flash-to-pass capability. And you get a bulb out error which is kinda ghetto. |

PM for TO source
PS Dealer may reprogram yours if you go in for repair and they notice your DRL is "not working"
