Doing Valve cover gasket

Hello,

I'm doing my valve cover gasket and pcv upgrade (n54) in about a week, and I'm wondering if there's anything else I should do as preventative maintenance or just because I'm in their.

Replace VC

On removal you can crack the VC and not really even know it and the oil separator ports will be clogged ~ so if you plan on keeping the awesome 335is then I would buy a new gasket and cover plus a RB PCV valve.

When I changed my VC on N54 -- it was really difficult to remove the cover without damaging the mating engine surface. The VC gasket was so hard and brittle it broke in hundreds of pieces and I spent hours picking all the small pieces out of the engine.
.
.
Post VC change -- change the oil in a couple hundred miles.

Hondabond is your friend -- look it up.
