i wanna to wrap my diffusor for rear bumper. let me or u guy go check out the stuff and price first, and is it easy to DIY.i think the shop is very close to Billy right?
also, the cf cloth is not just overlay.it's have to be painted much clear coat on top,i think it will can't make good quaity without spray booth.or do hard on polish after painted.

I don't think you need to put clear coat on top of the CF cloth because the epoxy resin harden the CF and make it looks like clear coated.

If you can make a wax mold then it will be easy but if not then it gonna be messy. Take off the diffuser, overlay the CF cloth on the diffuser, apply resin and try to make it as smooth as possible, soak away the excess, wrap it in the vaccum bag, suck all the air out, bake it in the oven, take it out and start sanding to make the surface smooth and shinny.

Garage List
Carbon fiber "cloth". by cloth do you mean raw carbon fiber twill, or are you looking for a carbon fiber leather or material

I have some left over Raw carbon fiber if you are interested, its 2x2 twill 3k tow. the piece is 5ft x 6ft

Let me know if you are intersted.

what's sandpaper needed.if sand the cf to smooth after epoxy will hard if used fine sandpaper.otherwise use rough sandpaper can easy sand to smooth but very hard to polish like clear coated shinny.
