Door panel trim issue

Anybody have suggestion on how to fix this problem? The trim is in tact, but the door panel where trim threaded bolt goes into has broken in multiple spots

Would something like this help?

20x Interior Trim Moulding Clip Door Retainer 07149158194 For BMW E46 E90 E91 X5 Door Lateral Trim Grommet With Metal Insert

It's better if you remove the trim piece and take a photo. Can't really tell what is damaged.

Ill check out 07149158194, at first glance at the door panel I thought these were "pressed" in or melted in.

If I can snap new ones in, that looks like a fix.

Thanks

PS. yes that is what is in my picture, half of that part broke off in multiple places.

Those break all the time, order new ones from eBay.

Make sure you remove all the white parts of the clip from both the door and the trim, once you do this install the white clips on the door they just pop in, you might need to use a bit of force for them to go in, make sure all the metal bolts are in place then push the trim into the door, it won't go in easy, I usually hit with the palm of my hand to make them go in.
