GP Thunders 8500K? Pics & Plug

All,

I just changed all my lights (4) to GP Thunders .. WOW .. so glad I did this. They look fantastic.

I made these images up myself a few moments ago, but a shameless plug for "ElectronicWoot.com" and the great service provided to get me 2 sets of GP Thunders landed in Canada, painlessly ...

I took a bunch of before and after pics so you could see both the Angel Eyes converted, as well as the Fogs converted.

All 4 lights took a total of 20 minutes, while being VERY careful. Piece of cake. (4 8mm bolts on each side, no jacking up, no lying on my back .. very simple)

" Angel Eyes "

" Fog Lights "

Let me know if you have any questions at all.

Cheers!

Nah...my GP 7.5K angels are highly visible during the day. They could be better, but they are good enough.

OEM looks better during the day and at night. It provides a nice contrast to the xenons. I don't know why people do this mod to be honest.

Personal preference I guess.

I think the OEM's look cheap and Yellow .... They remind me of a 1970's Datsun. I also feel they should match the Xenon's.

I think whiter, brighter = classier

But to each his/her own.

Not to mention they look completely washed out during the day. The only fix would be a pair of PIAA LEDs and I can't justify $300 for that.

I just put on some 7500's and they're very apparent during the day.

Either way you go, they look awesome. One of those mandatory mods IMO!

+3 a little more apparant than the 8500 K during the day, plus can't beat the price.

i think the 7500's in the Angels and Fogs are better than the 8500's. 8500's are far too blue in real life.
