I've bought six cars in the last eight years from VW, Audi and Nissan dealerships, mainly due to 3 of the six being totalled in accidents completely not my fault and having to replace them. Each time I've gotten bolder in my requests for items to be added to the "WE OWE" form that the dealers make you sign. Started with a free detail, then asked for free first oil change and floor mats. The service is included on bmw's and I've got a driveway/garage to do my own detailing now.

What else do folks try to weasel out of the dealer as freebies when you pick up your new car?

OEM Alarms, Aero kits, Floor Mats, Discounts, BMW performance parts.

Ive tried it all.

Best ive seen is someone got an Aero kit and an OEM alarm with the car

Customers always ask us for keychains. Sometimes they ask for hats. Most of the time, they are just satisfied with the lifetime free car washes and free new BMW loaner vehicles when in service.

WELL AREO KITS ARE LIKE 2500 BUCKS SO THATS A LITTLE EXTREME BUT MY CLIENTS IF THEY TAKE CARE OF ME ON THE SURVEY USUALY GET A NICE 100 GIFT CERTIFICATE ON TOP OF THERE CHOICE OF A HAT OR NICE PEN SET FROM THE PARTS COUNTER (AND YES THE C.A PAYS OUT OF POCKET)

Fuck dealer car washes, get floor mats, and a Percentage discount on whatever you buy. Like 10% off the aero kit.
