Ive had some luck getting them out from the bottom of the door...but from the mirrors and door handles, im having a heck of a time getting rid of the film. every time it rains, i get the trail of oily residue.

a regular wash with any car soap will probably get rid of it. If you want to get it off right away, some strong quick detailer should do the trick too.

It'll get better with time. A little quick detailer should do the trick as well. Though, if it's rained, you'll probably want to wash your car instead. But, time is likely the answer.

Thanks guys, ill just keep waiting it out... its been over a month, pisses me off LoL... cause even when the car looks fairly clean, after a rain or what not...the one thing that gives it away are those oily lines

My car is slightly more than a year old, and it still does the exact same that you described. Good luck!
