Partshub.ca? Any Experiences?

Has anyone ever ordered body parts from them? Any idea of the quality of the parts and materials etc?

Was thinking of getting a fender and/or OEM bumper for my e90 323i....

*edit*

Called and they stated it's a TP bumper. Would this be a thermoplastic polymer that polypropylene bumpers are made of? Stated that it was pretty much same as OEM just cheaper and have one to lifetime warranty depending on if you get "Best Value" or "Platinum" products.

Did you try asking the vender what TP is for?

I know a lot of times when veneers buy plastic stuff they make up acronyms and such to make the product sound better than it is.

From what I have seen on Chinese shopping sites, there is glass fiber, carbon and Plastic of various types. unfortunately I'm not sure if there is a better or worse plastic...

I just found a list of plastics used for Bumpers by auto industry.

PBT (polybutylene terephthalate)
Polypropylene (PP)

I don't see TP anywhere on the list, even for non bumper applications.

TP is likely ThermoPlastic, which covers a huge array of actual material that softens and melts when heated for processing. PBT, PP, PE, ABS, PET, PLA are just a few ThermoPlastics.
