2006 E90 and the MULF has stopped working. I cant find a second hand unit for cheap and they are still going for $300 +

I have looked at bluetooth FM or AUX as a solution.

When I hook my iphone via AUX it connects and speakers work. But I loose radio because of the AUX selection on head unit.

If I buy Bluetooth I will still loose radio because of AUX input unless I go FM receiver which suffers sound quality.

Any ideas or recommendations?

That's the way it works when the aux is hooked up
and selected.
If you have bluetooth phone it will switch over automatically
if you have an incoming call.
Do you have the bluetooth phone option installed.
There is no bluetooth music until around 2010 and then only
for cars with and idrive and a combox.

As far as I know the only module available stock for and 06 was a
TCU . YOu have to do non stock programming to install a Mulf 2 hi
with usb to and 06.

Is that city in the US or Australia.

My MULF is has stopped working the second time so no BT option thats why i am looking for external BT option via AUX but without switching to AUX input on the radio.
