i have never been given a speeding ticket before so i appreciate everyones help with my lack of knowledge...

I know that it should say if you have been laserd on a ticket because i've seen my brothers ticket before and it clearly says laser at w.e feet under the speeding violation. Now on my ticket it just says "speeding" with nothing under it...now what worries me is that on the lines where the officer signs theres a line that says "RADAR OPERATOR" and that line is filled out with something i can't make out. However, that line was also filled out on my other "violated the sidemarkers ticket" which has nothing to do with radar or speeding. There were two cops that pulled me over. So could it have been that the second cop just signs on the line below? Im so confused i appreciate any help.....

Sounds like you were caught with radar and not laser.
I'm not sure why your so concerned with that since its a speeding ticket either way (laser or radar).
If you want to get off the ticket completely seek an attorney. Or you can try to plea for a no point ticket, with larger fines.
