E91 base stereo upgrade advice

Hi all. First post so be gentle lol.

Right i have a 2010 320 msport touring with the base stereo . No amp no.tweeters just the 2 mids to under seat an 2 mids in rear door cards.

I have been doin some.research an i beleive the easiest way is to use a technic harness. I see there are 3 options but i beleive i need either the 4/4 or thr 4/6

Would it be better to amp the front and underseat on there own channel using a 4 or 5 chanel amp as id like to.also add a.sub in the boot. Would there be much improvement improvement sound splitting them or can i just leave them.parrallel an leave the rears off the head unit

Do any of the kits come.with the jumpers? Dont wanna cut any wires an make the install as easy as possible using technic rca option on either of the 2 kits mentioned above

I have bought the mb quart 200.3 kit so i can turn down the exagerated trebble the base unit gives out on the tweeter via the switch on the crossover that comes with it rather than recode or use a dsp. Is this acceptable.

Thanks in advance.

Ash

There has got to be three people asking questions
about this in the last three days.

On a 2010 all you should need is a Technic Harness
as the parallel connection on the fronts is made at the underseat speaker connector and the 4/6 and or 6/6 harness does the split for you.

Some people try to get by with only the door crossovers set
to negitive value to overcome the eq but it is kind of a
dirty fix. The question is it acceptable to you.

Cheers mate i was lookin at rhe 4/6 option do i need to buy the jumpers for underseat or are they part of the kit. Also as above is thr split really needed?

As for just using the door crossovers to comoensate the excess treble.i guess id have ti try an see . Im.no audiophile an surely even that option with the speaker upgrade and amp had to sound 100 timea better than the std base setup i have now

The split is part of the kit (4/6 6/6)its plug and play .
You are changing your under seats anyway there is
no extra steps involved.
