NCSExpert Error
Hi, after following this guide https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1338304 (option #5) to modify VO in order to change from a lead acid to AGM battery I received the following error after the very last step after clicking F1 Code Car in NCS expert. Every step before this last one worked fine.
This is from my NCSExpert error log: [18:31:57.953] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] 2000 Error LFCDHDIA.CPP (A_E65R.IPS/IPO) CDHapiResultText 1 [18:31:57.953] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] Fehler in EDIABAS oder in SG-Beschreibungsdatei SYS-0008: Job nicht gefunden RDCKWP [18:31:58.114] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] 2000 Error COAPI2.CPP coapiRunCabd 6 [18:31:58.114] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] Fehler in EDIABAS oder in SG-Beschreibungsdatei CODIERINDEX_LESEN [18:31:58.156] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] 2000 Error COAPI.CPP coapiReadCodierIndexFromSg 5 [18:31:58.156] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] Fehler in EDIABAS oder in SG-Beschreibungsdatei CODIERINDEX_LESEN: A_E65R [18:32:05.619] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] 2020 Error LFCDHDIA.CPP (A_E65DR.IPS/IPO) CDHapiResultText 1 [18:32:05.619] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] SG antwortet nicht IFH-0009: SG nicht angeschlossen oder meldet sich nicht ULF2_HI [18:32:05.762] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] 2020 Error COAPI2.CPP coapiRunCabd 6 [18:32:05.762] [2018-04-19] [SERIE] SG antwortet nicht CODIERDATEN_LESEN ================================================== ==============================(9) Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated Last edited by phish; 04-20-2018 at 07:03 PM.. |

Two things wrong with that guide that I see right off the bat if I'm looking at the right one (dead link). When you write or delete from the VO you use Expertmode/default coding, not manipulation. Same with default coding the CAS and NFRM after adding the VO.
After you change the VO and before you default code those modules take a quick look at your VO string in the fa file in your Work folder. Make sure the attribute you wanted to delete is gone and the one you added is there, then go back and default code those two modules. I attached another guide that might be more helpful.

I updated the link so it's correct now.
You are right, I was using the NCS Dummy profile when I followed that guide which has manipulation enabled. I didn't try Default with manipulation disabled. Since I already wrote the VO changes with manipulation enabled do I now need to go back and redo those same steps again using a Default profile? My fa.trc file is showing the string I want (-A090) and the old one (-B090) is deleted. I'm thinking all I need to do now is default code CAS and NFRM but want to confirm. Thank you for all your help. Last edited by phish; 04-21-2018 at 12:14 AM.. |

Just as a follow up resetting the CAS and NFRM modules with manipulation DISABLED was the correct solution. The guide I followed incorrectly stated to process car with manipulation ENABLED which was not the way to go in my case.
I also updated my DATEN files before I did all this but not sure if that helped or mattered. |
