There is a Bank of Fuses under the windshield cowling, right beside the DME.
check to see if 1 of those 30 am fuses is blown. NOW the Heater for your O2 Sensors is one 30 amp fuse for all heater elements in the four o2 sensors in your car. 2nd, your o2 sensors are AFR sensors not o2, so they work quite differently. find out the BOSCH Part number of each of your: Bank 1 Sensor 1 (Bank 1 means Cylinders 1,2 3) (Sensor 1 means Pre-CAT Sensor) and Bank 2 sensor 1 (Bank 2 means Cylinders 4,5,6) I see your Car is a 318, so it could be different in your car. The Different in the Bosch Part Numbers is just the LENGTH of the Cable that comes with the Sensor. Since they came on at the same time, then check for air leaks in the and around the INTAKE Manifold. also check o2 sensor wires of signs of melting or what not especially near the o2 sensor. I had this when I over heated my N54. This can only be causes by only a few things. 1) Sensors are bad. 2) Cats are Bad. 3) Air Leak in the Intake. 4) Air Leak in the Exhaust did your Car over heat recently? |
