Resonator or secondary cat delete?

Question for the exhaust gurus on here:
Currently have a muffler delete on my 328i looking to get a little more backfire(pop) from it, what would be better a muffler delete + resonator delete or a muffler delete + secondary cat delete? TIA

Headers and secondary cats delete it will pop alot but it will be loud, also i recommend not messing with resonator. My car have headers, secondary cats deleted and swapped with straight through muffler, resonator, turbo type muffler.. it is the best configuration i liked from custom exhaust

Ps: a tune is best for pops also it is better to not have any cats as overrun (pops) may burn them and melt them

What can happen with messing with the resonator?

In short, resonators cancel sound frequencies, they do not add much back pressure (unlike mufflers) so without it you will have a drone and vibrations in exhaust. They dont control loudness.

I agree with Eliase90 . Keep resonator it cancels drone and is not robbing you of power. Delete the secondary’s you will get more sound and pick up some (7-9) horsepower. That’s a win/win.
