Tischer, holy much more expensive! Will you offer it without the knob and boot like you did with the other SSKs?

Probably.....once BMW makes the lever available separately. Remember, this kit also comes with a new shifting arm along w/ the lever.

Ah, I see that now. Do you anticipate BMW making it available separately soon? I am very interested, but I am not a big fan of the knob/boot.

I am confused. The 335i kit cost more than double of a 328i kit. Is there something special about 335i kit that warrants this extreme price difference?

Thanks. I googled a pic of a shifting arm and can see now why it would add to the price. I will wait until the parts come separately. Tischer Rulz!

I'd be interested to see a DIY for this... seems much more difficult than before.

How low is too low? I guess that'd be a matter of personal preference. We haven't seen any pictures of this kit installed yet, so I'm not really sure how low it sits. I guess we'll have to wait until someone installs one to find out.

I personally prefer mine counter-sunk to the shifter console.

Hey guys, what exactly does the new shifter arm do and how is the lever different? Is shifting improved over the other non-335 performance SSK kit, which still fits in the 335? Basically, I have the old lever - will the new lever and shift arm make a big difference?

They're supposed to...but we're still waiting for someone to try this kit out and let us know - we don't have 335's(yet).

We will have the part numbers posted up for the separate part as soon as they're available. I just checked availability, and they're still not available.
