Hey everyone,

I've been chasing this code for the past 10 months.. it seems to be intermediate with no noticeable pattern. Sometimes it won't come on for a month, sometimes it will come back within 50km after clearing the code.

I've replaced the DMTL pump with a DORMAN 310601 from Rockauto.
I seen online that sometimes the wire harness can get damaged? Can anyone speak on this?

I don't know what else to do other than buy another DMTL pump or open up the whole wire harness...

This has been discussed before. Inspect the wiring harness going to the DMTL pump for any corrosion or breaks in the wiring. It's very likely this is your problem.

yes , check the wires from behind the brakes to the rear bumper, the wires rest on the plastic cover and eventually the vibration rubs through severing then corroding the wires.
