Just curbed it!!!

So I'm trying to enter this stupid Bank of America drive through teller which is about one foot wider than my car. The way it is set up you have to enter at an angle and swing wide to miss clipping your mirror on the stupid yellow concrete bumper. Well, of course, I swung it too wide and felt/heard the most awful and terrifying crunch/grind sound of my life. Got through with the transaction and pulled over to see that I had a HUGE curb rash running about 7-8 inches along the edge of my front right rim The gash even runs up one of the spokes and is horribly noticeable. Anyway, anyone know what I can do about this? Refinish/repair (if thats possible) or do I need a new rim? I'm sure the OEM 19" is ridiculously expensive through the dealer. I have never curbed a car in my life; figures now that I have the most expensive car I've ever owned. Oh well, maybe I'll look into those Volks....

A lot of dealer will fix the wheel for around $100 or they have mobil services they can refer you to.

Not a big deal. They can easily fix that for you and you will never know.

New wheels? The stock G37S wheels are gorgeous..and to fix them would only cost $100 and it would come out perfect with a skilled curb repairman.

Check around to see if you can find a rim off of Ebay or Craigslist.

did the same thing two weeks ago at a citibank drive through atm. but mines like nothing compared to yours. I've been doing some research and wheel repairs range from $50 to $80 or fix it yourself?
