Any suspension gurus in east bay?
Looking to see if you can diagnose my rear end bounciness. I think my rear driver side lower shock mount is toast. Also not sure if the clunks I’m hearing are due to shock mount or end link. Also not sure if my shocks are toasted or my rebound settings are soft. Thanks

did you replace the bump stops?
Typically bounciness in the rear is bad/worn/old bump stops and/or the strut isnt set to the proper length. There can be other reasons like the spring is simply too stiff for its application but I'd start with checking the length of the struts (if theyre adjustable) since thats free (if you diy) and then buying new bump stops. Here is a link to them on Amazon, they're like $11 a set - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 , made a HUGE difference on my car when I upgraded the suspension. I also replace the lower shock mounts as well while I was in there. You'd be surprised what a difference these relatively cheap parts make in terms of bounciness.
